Hello Everyone,
We are pleased to share the latest progress on our ongoing film development initiatives. As we move toward the end of the year, we have made some progress in preparing for large-scale production.
Facility Renovation and Production Capacity
Our facility is currently undergoing renovation to accommodate film production at an industrial capacity. Located alongside our existing lens production site, this expansion will allow us to centralize operations. Our goal is to establish a production line in-house where both lens and film projects are fully self-sufficient.

Peel-Apart Film Development Progress
In parallel with preparations for our main film production line, which we will be covering in our next installment of our Film Project Update. Our research team has been advancing our second goal of researching and developing Peel-Apart Film. Over the summer, we successfully synthesized black-and-white Peel-Apart film dyes, and we have now continued our research on the synthesization of Blue, Red/Yellow, and Green dye necessarily for Color-Peel Apart Film. We have also designed a preliminary production process for the peel-apart film assembly line—mapping the journey from raw materials through to the finished product:

Packaging and Assembly
The goal for the remainder of 2025 is to develop and research with our production line of peel-apart film. We completed several testing and coating experiments with black-and-white emulsions. While this marks a good beginning of our progress, our primary challenge remains the design and the packaging/finishing of our Peel-Apart Film.

Over the summer, our team explored options for packaging and finishing peel-apart film. Our ideas have become increasingly clear, while we have begun to illustrating and testing machinery concepts for peel-apart film packaging process, we have many details to change. We will then conduct phased verification of the composition and combination of the peel-apart film components, and we aim to achieve our goal with community feedback and regular updates.
Our team is also experimenting with methods to produce the chemical pods required within Peel-Apart film. So far, we discovered the use of packaging technologies from cosmetic field can be converted and adapted to produce chemical pods. We are currently investigating a possibly to integrate and automate these methods into our dedicated peel-apart film production line

Looking ahead to our Peel-Apart Film Project
A rough modeling of the peel-apart film packing. While, we planned on producing peel-apart film for various existing format. We also are considering the development of proprietary film backs designed to ensure compatibility with a wide range of cameras, providing photographers with a practical and reliable way to shoot peel-apart film once again.

As with our broader film project, we are committed to producing peel-apart film entirely in-house. By developing proprietary production lines and automation, we aim to achieve true independence from external manufacturers, while grounding our progress in ongoing dialogue with the photographic community.
We look forward to sharing further updates in the next installment of our Film Project Update. Thank you for your support!
