We proudly announce our development of the Light Lens Lab 50mm f/2 "Rigid." Prototype copies have been produced for further testing and are available for review testing. The lens is now in production and will be available for order.
Our initial testing shows excellent results, with rendering and performance displaying close similarities to the original 50mm f/2 V2.

- Homage of the legendary 50mm f/2 V2
- Classic seven elements in six groups design
- Minimum focus distance (MFD) of 0.7 meters
- Full-brass body
- Lanthanide-infused elements “LaK-9”, with changes to lens coating for better durability and render performance.
- Lenses are made by hand and assembled in limited quantities with utmost quality control and tolerance.

The 50mm f/2 "Rigid' will be a part of the Light Lens Lab "Rigid" Project that will be announced at a subsequent time.
The order of the 50mm f/2 “Rigid” will commence at 12 a.m. EST on December 15th, 2024, with Shipment beginning on February 14, 2025. *
